About Me

Hi there! I'm Kevin, born and raised in Northeast Ohio. I'm currently working as a software engineer for Capital One in Plano, Texas.

In 2017, I graduated from Ohio State with a bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2022, I graduated from Kent State with a master's in Library and Information Science. I'm passionate about the intersection of technology and librarianship, and how technology can help facilitate the dissemination of knowledge.

I've been an avid Wikipedia editor and contributor to the Wikimedia movement for over 10 years. I currently serve on the Board of Wikimedia District of Columbia and am a co-founder and organizer of the Ohio Wikimedians User Group. I also actively organize several annual Wikimedia events, including WikiConference North America and Wiki Loves Monuments in the United States.

At Ohio State, I was one of the organizers for OHI/O, a student organization at Ohio State dedicated to fostering a tech culture at the University through hackathons, presentations, and networking events. I also founded and lead Wikipedia Connection, a student education focused on exposing students and faculty to Wikipedia with weekly workshops, edit-a-thons, photography events, and more.
